What
makes me an expert on poker?
Well
I started playing when I was about twelve years old
I
have played in friends homes, taverns, back rooms at pool halls, bars,
casinos and of course on the web, I have worked for Casinos. Been in
charge
of the floor at a casino. Do I win , Yes I win more than I
loose.
poker winning must be figured by the month or year, no one can win
every
hand or every game. Some nights it is best to quit and wait for
another
day. So Im not a professional poker player, nor am I an Expert
but
I win more than I loose by far. Here Im not only going to give
you
my thoughts on Poker but I'm going to give you hints I got from
professionals.
Some will apply to all forms of gambling including: Slots, Dice,
and all other gaming. Will this help you win , maybe not, but it just
might
improve your game some.
So
lets look at Poker, what is poker. Well its played with a
deck
of fifty two cards using four suits: clubs, diamonds, spades and
hearts. each suit has thirteen cards: ace, duce(2), tray(3), 4,
5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King. Jokers may be added to the
deck.
The
Ace can be played as a one (1) or it can be played as the
card
higher than the king, or you could say 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J,
Q,
K, Ace. all suits have the same value, spades are not higher than
hearts or clubs higher than diamonds they are all the same. A
suite
is what we call: clubs, diamonds, hearts, or spades. each suite has 13
cards in it from the ace to the king.
Ok lets look at a deck of cards and how the weight of hands are figured.
First of all there is no exact set rules to poker. The players sometimes make their own rules. make sure you know of any rules the house may set. Example if using a joker some call a joker wild with: Aces Straights and Flushes, some put in more than one joker or call jokers wild for everything. some call duces (2) wild. There are many versions of poker.

in order from low to high.

card, a pair, 2 pair, 3 of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of
a kind, straight flush
Here
are example games in which there are only two players you
and
an a player we shall call Joe.
the
games are in an order for the lowest possible hand you
could
win with, to the highest hand it would take in the hand to beat
Joe.
If tow or more player should have the same hand, say two kings then the
winner is decided by who has the highest card in their hand.
